All Decorated and Just About Ready For Christmas

I hope that everyone is doing well and is almost all set for Christmas. My family and I are slowly getting there. :) We finally finshed decorating our house yesterday. Those of you that know us well know how much we love Hawaii and Hawaiian items. A few years back we purchased a bunch of Hawaiian themed ornaments from Hilo Hattie. Ever since then we have continue to add to our collection. Here is our tree decorated with the ornaments.

Here is a close up picture of them.

Here are a few other areas of our house that we decorated.

Right after Thanksgiving my hubby decorated our house outside.

With the windstorms a few weeks ago it tangled up some of our lights and knocked down our bears. The bears looked so sad. It took some time to get things back up looking decent. Now we are all set for family and friends to visit us and of course to celebrate Jesus' b-day. Have a great one everyone!

November's Card and Tag Swap

This is the card that I made for my card and tag swap. Even though it was not Winter yet, I was already prepping for it. :) This is what I came up with for Patty.

This is what Patty made for me.

Thanks Patty for such a fabulous card and for all the time that you put into making it for me. :)

A Fun Filled Weekend

After celebrating my mom's b-day yesterday with my dad, sisters, and BILs my hubby and I dropped our kids off at my in-law's house for the rest of the day and to spend the night. Our kids were not thrilled about spending the night anywhere without us so we had to bribe them a little bit. :) I was very excited all week to get a little break from all the craziness of Christmas and from our two little ones, but yesterday thinking of dropping our kids off made me feel a bit sad too. My hubby did too. Despite how we felt, we left anyway for our mini vacation to San Diego to watch a Hawaiian concert where the Makaha Sons

and our favorite artist will be performing- Keali'i Reichel. .

Here we are like teenagers excited for the concert to start. :)

Before leaving San Diego today we did some shopping at the outlets, at Crazy Shirt,

and took a stroll on the pier.

We stopped to take a picture in front of a beautiful Christmas tree with poisenttias all over it

and next to a nutcracker. It was supposed to rain, but thankfully it did not. It was a bit cold, but other than that it was perfect weather to be out taking a walk. It was an absolutely a fun filled weekend. I hope that all of you had a nice one too. :)

Christmas Cards For A Good Cause

A good friend asked her blogging sisters to help make cards for her aunt that makes dolls for a local children's hospital every year for Christmas. She thought it would be nice for aunt to include a card with each doll this year. It is so awesome how many blogging sisters made cards. My good friend's goal was to collect 150 cards, but she exceeded amount thanks to all the people that made cards and sent them her way. Here are the cards that I made.

I am always thankful to God for giving me the opportunity to use my hobby of making cards to donate to others for a good cause to bring a smile to someone's face.

Some Special Treats

I attend a stamp club at a local Stampin Up demonstrators house once a month. I always have lots of fun with the ladies each month chatting and stamping away. This month was especially fun because we not only chatted and stamped, but we also surprised each other with some fun goodies for Chrismas. This is what I gave to each of the ladies.

Here is close up of the medallion that I made as tag.

Here are the fun treats that I received.

Thanks ladies for such wonderful and creative gifts. :)

Full Cards With Punch Art On Them

I hope that all of you are doing well in getting ready for one of my favorite holidays- Christmas. It is one of my favorites because it is Jesus birthday and I get to surprise the people that I love with some extra love. With the power outage, I am a bit behind with my Christmas stuff. We finally fixed our Christmas lights outside. This morning I finished my annual family newsletter. My goal for today is to make labels for our Christmas cards and make Christmas tags. Well as promised, today I will be sharing the swaps that I received from a punch art swap that I signed up for. We were asked to make 6 identical full cards using at least 2 Stampin Up punches. Unfortunately I cannot find the picture that I took of the card that I made. I will be posting a card similar to what I made sometime this week.
These are the 6 amazing cards that I received.

Thanks ladies for such great creations. Have a fun time crafting and prepping for Christmas.

My Eskimo Outfit and Some Punch Art

I think my body is still recovering from coping with all the added stress that the windstorms last week has caused. It was especially rough going to work without power. We were asked to dress warm. Check out what I wore to work.

My family and I continue to be very grateful that God kept us all safe despite how bad the winds were. Our city as well as the surrounding cities have been slowly recovering. Some of the cities still do not have power. Our backyard thankfully was cleaned up by Cal Trans yesterday. My family and I appreciate all of you for keeping us in your prayers and for your encouragement. Unfortunately I have not been doing much crafting for the past week. I am slowly getting back into it. :) Today I am going to share some projects from a punch art swap that I signed up for last month. I was paired up with a super creative person named Liz that lives in Australia. We were each asked to make a card and a gift with using at least two Stampin Up punches. Check out all the awesome items that she made and sent to me.

In the box she put a cute cupcake inside and and in the cone shaped basket she put some delicious Dove choclate.

The cupcake looks so realistic and good enough to eat. :) Unfortunately it's a candle. :( This is what I made to send to her.

The snowman is a little tablet. Stay tune for some more great ideas from the punch art swap that I signed up for. Have a great day!
