RAK Number Two

I had so much fun participating in the RAK club in June that I decided to participate in it again in July. This time I was asked to make some thing for Angie. I made her a goodie bag using one of my favorite stamps and made her a matching card. I also sent her some beads, ribbon, and some stamped images to color to make a card.

Angie surprised me with a container and pen made using matching designer paper. (Sorry I downloaded the wrong picture. This picture does not have the pen that she made for me.) She also made me magnet with a Bibe verse and a card. They are all so cute. Best of all she filled the container with some yummy candy. :) I really liked the magnet too with a Bible verse on it. It will be great on my file cabinet in my classroom. Thanks again Angie for the what you made for me. I love them all.

At Last

In June, I set up a this new blog thinking that it would be fun to start one for crafting. This blog will be dedicated to different cards/3D projects that I have made and/CASE ed as well as different cards/3Ds projects that I have received. I will try to write an entry and download pictures at least once a month. I am sorry that I am not a pro in blogging as all the other creative and talented ladies in blogland that have a blog entry and a creative project everyday. I need to also apololgize that my blog is not as fancy as all the other ladies in blogland. Well, finally today after numerous tries on various days I have been able to get in to download pictures and write an entry. It's getting late as you can see so I will try to keep this as entry as short and to the point as possible. Those of you who know me well... being brief and to the point is very hard for me to do. :)
In June, I signed up for my first Random Act of Kindness (RAK) club through a gal named Jen that lives in my favorite place, Hawaii. (We have only e-mailed each other, but we hope to one day meet and do some stamping together when I go to Hawaii again one day soon. Jen is such a neat person with some awesome ideas. It has really been a blessing getting to know her and having her as a friend.) Once a month if a person chooses to they can sign up for her club by e-mailing her. (If you are ever interested in participating in the club, let me know and I can give you her e-mail address.) She assigns you with a person to send a hand made card to and if you would like send other goodies. My RAK partner was Dottie. I read on her blog that she is a huge Disney fan so I thought it would be nice to surprise her with a card and coordinating goodies. It was lots of fun making her the above card, post-it holder, and Chicklet wrapper.

Jen assigned Dottie me to be her RAK partner. Dottie e-mailed me previous to sending me my goodies to ask me what kinds of things I am interested in and what my favorite colors are. and I told her that I like the Peanuts. She does not own any Peanuts stamps so she asked her friend to mail her some. I was so surprised by the RAK that I received from her.As you can see she made me lots of cards each of them colored and stamped and a note pad, as well as a clear stamp set extra stamped images for me to make cards with, ribbons, beads, and a package of stickers. I loved all the goodies that she sent to me. I had told her that I have not had much time to to make any cards lately so she was more than nice enough to make the hand stamped Peanuts cards and stamp some images for me to make cards with. I wrote Dottie an e-mail as soon as I received the goodies, but since I loved all of them

so much she deserves another "thank you." Dottie, from the bottom of my heart I am so
grateful for all the me, energy, and creativity that you took to make me all the cards. Thanks for all the other goodies too. (Dottie, in your last e-mail a few weeks ago you had told me that you have not been able to log into my this blog. I told you that I have been having problems too. Hopefully you can log in now. I am so sorry for the delay in posting what you made for me.) So far I have continued to admire all the great cards that she has made for me. Maybe one day soon I will be willing to depart with some of them. Who knows you may be one of the lucky people to receive one of the awesome cards. Before I go back to work in Sept. hopefully I will have the chance to use some of the goodies that she gave to me.
