The Orders Have Arrived

I hope that this post is finding everyone doing well. It has been another busy week for me both at work. I am definitely ready for next week off for Spring Break. :)Well, this was a busy evening. My kids were busy playing games on the computer while my hubby and I sorted out the orders from my stamp party. All the orders finally arrived today.

Here are all the wonderful goodies that my friends ordered. It is always so much fun to see what others order.

Here are all the free goodies that I earned thanks to all that my friends ordered.

My stamp party this year was one of the highest ones that I have had in the past 5 years. The total people purchase is usually a few hundred less than this year. I am so grateful for all the goodies that I received and can't wait to be able to play with all of them soon. I am planning to make a little some thing for my friends too, but have not had a chance to make them yet. Like I usually do I will also include pictures of the samples that I took pictures of at the party that Becky brought over. Stay tune for a picture of what I create. The Past Two Days

On Friday and yesterday I was in downtown Los Angeles for conference for work. It was at the beautiful Baltimore Hotel.


I took 3 different seminars which were all very interesting and full of information. It was nice to be able to sit in huge, elegant ball rooms soaking in all the information. My brain feels like it's on overload and my bottom is a bit tired from sitting for so long- 6 hours each day. Going to the conference help me realize how fortunate I am to not have to drive in traffic everyday to go to work.

I am so happy that I don't need to go to school anymore. I don't think I can sit that long anymore to take notes and have so many informatin given to me all at once. During my 2 hour lunch break today I got to have lunch with my hubby at a Japanese Restaurant in Little Tokyo called Matsui that we have never gone to.

We each ordered the special.

It was super yummy. I can't wait to go there again!

Happy St. Patty's Day

Did you wear green today? I hope that all of you had a wonderful St. Patty's Day. My family and I had a fun time this evening taking some cute pictures of our kids wearing thier St. Patty's Day hat and head band. We also enjoyed a delicous meal of corn beef and cabbage.

I love corn beef and cabbage.

My Annual Stamp Party

Last night I had my annual Stampin Up party having my friend Becky

as the demonstrator to show us how to make cute projects. (During the party my hubby took the kids out to dinner and to the Disney store. They were initially going to stay but my daughter kept insisting that she join us.) We started off by introducing ourselves to each other and having Becky talk about SU products and special promotions.

Before starting on our projects, we had some fun door prices. Here are 5 of my friends that won the door prices.



A fourth door prize, an acurlic block, was given out to my friend Lorraine, but I did not get a chance to take a picture of her with her prize. Sorry Lorriane! Next Becky thanked me for hosting a workshop and gave me these 3 super cute boxes using one of the SU dies.

All 20 of us had a wonderful time chatting and crafting the night away.






Here we are hard at work on our projects. (As you can see my hubby joined us to help a friend make a one of the cards since she had to leave. He has a great time too.)




As my friends were looking through the catalog and deciding what to order,

each of them enjoyed some water and a egg custard.

Date Night

My hubby and I went on a "date" on Friday to Sesame Grill for dinner.

We ordered escargots for our appetizer and each

ordered one of the dinner specials. My hubby had a salad and pasta.


I had cream of mushroom soup and seared ahi.


Then we were off to watch the musical "Beauty and the Beast."



It was at the pantages theater. We have been there many times to watch musicals but but each time we continue to be amazed at how beautiful it is inside.

The musical was awesome! It had some songs and scenes that are not in the movie which made it even better than the movie. To help us remember such a fantastic evening and musical we purchased a program, the Broadway CD, a t-shirt, and a charm bracelet. (Sorry the the t-shirt is not in the picture.)
