Easter Goodies

Today I would like to share some of the Easter goodies that I made for family and friends to celebrate the special holiday. I attached flowers on pails and put a rhinestone in the center of each one. I initally attached them with hot glue but it did not work. I ended up attaching them using glue dots.

Here are some of the goodies that I put in the pails.

These are the tags I made to attach to the pails.

I always find it lots of fun to surprise those that we love with some extra goodies on the holidays. My family and I appreciate all of you that surprised us with goodies too.

Happy Secretaries Day!

In honor of the secetaries at work I made these tags using my Big Shot machine

and attached them to thier gift bags.

I am thankful for all of the secretaries at work for all their hard work and for the friendship that I have been able to develop with them over the years.

Happy Easter

My family and I started of the day by going to church to praise God for raising His son Jesus from the dead so that we have hope in our lives. Each of us wore our a different tone of purple to go to church.

After church we had a relaxing day doing various tasks around the house. In the evening we dyed some eggs. This was our first time our kids did this. They had a blast. We let them dye 2 eggs each.

After the eggs were dyed we each drew a face on an egg. I think the eggs turned out pretty cute.

We ended the day by baking some yummy cookies.

Before heading off to bed I bed a Easter card for one of my friends. I thought it tuned out pretty good.

I hope that all of you had a wondeful Easter.

A Date To Celebrate My B-day

Yes, the celebrating continues... Today I went on a date to celebrate my b-day. My hubby and I decided to try out a new Japanese restaurant in downtown Pasadena.

We loved their beautiful paintings, the atmosphere of the their dinning hall,

and most of all enjoyed a delicious meal.

Of course we ordered fried tempura ice cream for dessert. We love it so much that we can't help but order one at each of the Japanese restaurants that we eat at.

Next we went to the Pacific Asia Museum. We had a good time learning and seeing different pieces of art.

Here are some of our favorites.

Of course we took some pictures with some of the pieces.

We loved the garden. It is such a beautiful and peaceful place.

Here we are posing for a few pictures in the garden.

It was the perfect weather to have a special outting for my b-day with my hubby. Thanks Benson for making it such a memorable and fun day.

Today Is A Special Day

Today is indeed a special day. It's Good Friday!

Today Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins so that we do not have to live in darkness for internity. Thank you God for loving us all so much by sending your son Jesus to die on the cross and

raising from the dead so that we can have hope and have a special relationship with you. We praise God that all of my immediate family members know Him with the exception of our daughter. We pray that in His time that she will except Him into her heart just like our son did recently. Have a blessed Easter everyone!

The Cherry Blossom Festival

My hubby and I went to the Cherry Blossom Festival today at a lcoal park after church while our kids had lunch with his parents. We have never been to a one before so we thought it would be fun to go to one since we had some time. It was lots of fun full of people enjoying themselves along with many game booths, food booths, and boths that sold clothes, jewlery, anime, bags, art work, etc. We of course found our share of cute items to purchase. Here are two of the many items that we got along with a cute poster about the festival.

Stay tune for some pictures soon as my b-day get together that we had on Saturday. Yes, it was a full, but fun weekend. Have a great week everyone!

Our Mini Vacation

For the past 3 days my family and I went on a mini vacation. We booked 3 days and 2 nights at the Knott's Berry Farm Resort hotel and went to 2 amusement parks- California Adventure

and Knott's Berry Farm.

We ate dinner at Mrs. Knott's Kitchen and lunch there before we left to go home. We love her fried chicken. Her fried chickens reminds me so much of how my grandmother used to make them. Of course how my grandmothers made it is way better than Mrs. Knott's. :)

I love their steamed cabbage too.
We were going to go to a third amusement park today before going home, but decided not too because we were so tired. I think being on our feet and waiting in line 2 days in a row wiped us out. After 2 tiring but fun days together, we had a very relaxing day today eating some delicous food and going shopping. Before leaving our hotel we took some pictures on the second floor where the Snoopy Hall Way is.

My family and I had a good time together for the past 3 days, but are looking forward to sleeping in our own beds tonight. Since I have not been home for the past 3 days I have not been doing any crafting. Stay tune for some crafty items that I made before going on vacation and that I have received hopefully tomorrow.
