Happy Tuesday! It has been extra relaxing with my summer vacation finally starting yesterday. I feel like a big load has been lifted from me without needing to do any paperwork and attend any meetings. I thank the Lord for the opportunity to have a break.
Today I would like to share what I made for my co-workers last week for their end of the year gifts. I always like to make each of them a little some thing for different holidays and for the end of the year as my way of expressing my appreciated to them. I consider my co-workers and students to be my second family. I made tags for all the gifts. I stamped "mahalo" and punched it out using one of my scallop punches. Then I ran it through my Big Shot to texture it using the new embossing folder from Stampin Up. Next I punched out a flower and sponged the edges to make my version of a plumeria. I thought it turned out pretty nice. What do you think?

On the back of the tag, I wrote a speical little message to each person.
The gifts varied from a box of Harry and David chocolate

to jelly beans, stationary and chocolate, and stationary and a key chain.

I also made one a rose and attached it to a box of chocolate. (As you have noticed I love making the flowers out of cardstock. I have a long waiting list of friends/co-workers that have asked me to make them one.)

For 2 of my good GFs I gave them some goodies that I put a band around and made a flower to attach to it. I posted flowers about a month ago that look like this. These flowers I made using a flower punch. After I punced out 3 flowers, I spritzed them with water, scrunched them up, and attached all of them in the middle with a brad.

Besides giving a away goodies I also received some from my co-workers and students. I am very touched by thier thoughtfulness.

It was a super busy school year, but it has been such an honor to be able to work with such a fine group of teachers and students. I would not trade my job and the people I get to work with for anything. :)
