How Many Years Has It Been?

It was 12 years today that my hubby and I said the big "I DO" We can't believe that it's been 12years already. We remember that special day as if it was yesterday. We feel very blest that the Lord has blest us with 12 wonderful years together and look forward to many more years of memories together and with our little ones. It is our prayer that God will continue to help us to be a blessing as a couple and as a family to others. To celebrate God's goodness on us we have broken our celebrating into 3 different days. The first part was done last Tuesday at Roy's.

Today was part 2 of our celebrating. We went to Disneyland. We were happy to get to spend the day together without the kids, but at the same time we felt a bit sad too.

Stay tune to part 3 of our celebrating. One of the best gifts that we received is from Zach. He asked us to buy him a card this week with the number "seven" on it and a Transformer. We thought he was saving the card for us to write to him on his b-day. He wrote us a special message with a coupon in it to wish us a "Happy Annivesary." What a sweet little man we have. We thank the Lord for our kids and for each of you. Our marriage would definitley would not be what it is today without the Lord as the head of it and with all of you praying and encouraging us. Big hugs to all of you!

My First C.A.T.S. Swap

This was my first month that I particpated in the card and tag swap (C.A.T.S.). I was paired up with one of good friends Grace. We are so excited to be get to be swap partners. :) The theme for this months swap is red, white, and blue. Her card arrived in the mail today. She always makes me such awesome cards. Check out her "A+" coloring with her Copics. I especially love what she did with the flame on the torch. Thanks Grace for the time that you put into making the card and tag.

This is what I made for her. This is how the card looks with the tag in the card

and the tag separate from the card.

As I mentioned earlier during the week, I made several cards with this layout this months for my swaps in different colors. Here is a third card that I made with the same layout using different colors and the flowers on the oval scallop slightly different.

That's all I have to share for today. I hope that you'll have a super fun crafty weekend. Until my next post, God bless!

Secret Sister Swap for July

Happy Wednesday! I hope that all of you are having a wonderful week so far. Today I would like to share with you what I sent my secret sister this month. This months theme was "flowers."

I made her a card with a tag/book marker that slips into a slot that I punched on the front of the card. Stay tune for how the card looks without the tag/book marker some time this week.
I hope that the person I was paired up with likes what I made for her and sent her way. This is what my secret sister Denise sent to me. Thank you so much for the goodies.

My family ended our day by having dinner with one of my good friends from work and her husband. We ate at one of our favorite seafood restaurants.

Summer Cards

Happy Saturday! I hope that all of you are having a good one so far. It's been a nice relaxing one for me. I am so glad that we don't have much planned this weekend since our week days have been so busy. Today I would like to share what I received for my tea swap card this month from Dori from Hawaii. The theme for this month is "summer." She made me a cute easel card.

Thanks again Dori for the card and the teas that you sent to me. This is the card that I made for her.

Of course when I think of the word "summer" a Hawaiian themed comes to mind since that is my favorite place to vacation during the summer. I hope that all of you will have a nice rest of the weekend. Happy crafting and/or stamping!

A Fun Filled Monday

It was such a fun day yesterday. All the fun started off with meeting my friend Gail for lunch at Little Tokyo.

Gail is visiting from SF. She is down here for her daughter's college orientation. Gail and I met through being swap partners for a tea swap that we participate in every month. We were both so excited when we found out that we will get to meet each other in person. Both of us gave each other a RAK. She included goodies for my family and I.

She put my goodies in a super cute bag that she decorated for me.

This is what I surprised her with.

Along with these items I gave her family cookies from Knott's Berry Farm.
Gail, thanks again for the gift and for taking time to have lunch with my family and I. We hope that you and your family enjoy your visit. After our yummy lunch we went to Disneyland for 9 fun filled hours. We hung out with my cousin and her family that are visiting from Seattle. Spending time with them last week was so much fun that we could not resist spending more time with them. :)

A Graduation Dinner

This evening we went out to dinner with my parents, sisters, BILs, aunts, uncles, and cousins at Todai's for my cousin Grace's graduation celebration. She graduated from high school last month.

We ate plenty of Japanese food to last us for awhile.

The dessert was pretty good too.

I am sorry that I don't have anything crafty to share today. Stay tune for some this week. Until then God bless and take care!

Another Date

My hubby and I are thankful that we got to go out on a date two Fridays in a row thanks to my parents and my in-laws. Yesterday we had a delicous dinner together

and went to watch Shrek the Musical.

It was hilarious and their costumes were amazing. We think the musical was much more funny than the movie. I hope that everyone has a fun filled weekend with your family and of course with some crafting.
