A Playdate For The Kids and The Adults Too

Yesterday my kids and I got together with two of my good friends and thier kids. We got to have a yummy lunch together

and got to play together. The kids got to play video games and toys together and
the adults got to do some crafting with my Big Shot. I showed my two friends how to emboss using some of my favorite embossing folders.

We all had a break from playing and enjoyed some cookies.

At the end before ending our time together, the three of us exchanged some handmade goodies. This is what I made for them. (Here is the matchbox with the ribbon and without the ribbon.)

Here is the matchbox open with the bouquet eraser that I put inside each of them.

and this is what they made for me.

Both of them a great job on their projects. Thank you to two of my dear friends for a spectacular day and for taking time to put the projects together.

Secret Sister Swap for March

Happy Saturday everyone! I am so happy that it is Saturday. I got to sleep in for a bit which is nice and is going to be able to relax the entire weekend since I don't have any paperwork to do for next week. :) Today I would like to share what my Secret Sister for March sent to me. Thanks Cindy for the nice note and the cute notepad that you made for me. I love the color package of flowers too.

This is what I sent to my Secret Sister for last month. Linda, I am so glad that you like what I sent to you.

Have a great rest of the weekend. I hope that you will have some time to do some crafting this weekend.

Some Super News

Please join my family and I as we praise God for helping my son make the decision Wednesday night to join God's family. My hubby and I led him in saying a prayer for his salvation. We asked him where Jesus is and he said in my heart with a huge smile on his face.

The Orders Have Arrived

I hope that this post is finding everyone doing well. It has been another busy week for me both at work. I am definitely ready for next week off for Spring Break. :)Well, this was a busy evening. My kids were busy playing games on the computer while my hubby and I sorted out the orders from my stamp party. All the orders finally arrived today.

Here are all the wonderful goodies that my friends ordered. It is always so much fun to see what others order.

One of my friends order 11 snail mail adhesive refills. She must really like using them.

Here are all the free goodies that I earned thanks to all that my friends ordered.

My stamp party this year was one of the highest ones that I have had in the past 5 years. The total people purchase is usually a few hundred less than this year. I am so grateful for all the goodies that I received and can't wait to be able to play with all of them soon. I am planning to make a little some thing for my friends too, but have not had a chance to make them yet. Like I usually do I will also include pictures of the samples that I took pictures of at the party that Becky brought over. Stay tune for a picture of what I create. Until then, have a great rest of the week.

The Past Two Days

On Friday and yesterday I was in downtown Los Angeles for conference for work. It was at the beautiful Baltimore Hotel.

I took 3 different seminars which were all very interesting and full of information. It was nice to be able to sit in huge, elegant ball rooms soaking in all the information. My brain feels like it's on overload and my bottom is a bit tired from sitting for so long- 6 hours each day. Going to the conference help me realize how fortunate I am to not have to drive in traffic everyday to go to work.

I am so happy that I don't need to go to school anymore. I don't think I can sit that long anymore to take notes and have so many informatin given to me all at once. During my 2 hour lunch break today I got to have lunch with my hubby at a Japanese Restaurant in Little Tokyo called Matsui that we have never gone to.

We each ordered the special.

It was super yummy. I can't wait to go there again!
